From One Shoe To A Full Collection

This week was a major turning point.

I had a detailed call with our agent at the Italian manufacturing company, the one who's been helping bring Vedones to life, step by step. And now, I can finally say: we’re going from one pair of pumps to a complete first collection.

We’re starting with our all-black block heel. She’s timeless. She’s powerful. The heel is square and solid, designed to carry women through meetings, conferences, and big moments with confidence.

Alongside the all-block heel, we’re making a classic thin-heeled pump for those who want something more sleek. And we’re elevating the design even more: lighter-toned shoes will feature a nude midsole with a soft, elegant touch that shows just at the bottom. It’s those details that say “luxury” without shouting.

For colors like gray, red, pink, and brown, we’re keeping it classy and cohesive, using that same light or medium brown midsole. For navy and black, the sole and midsole will stay completely black for a sharp, seamless finish.

Now, here’s where it gets even better: Loafers and Flats are coming!!

To create the loafers, the factory is sending me molds to capture the top of my foot, which is something I didn’t even know was necessary. But for a perfect fit in extended sizes, it’s essential. Once the mold is sent back, they’ll handcraft loafers in two heel heights: a 2-inch and a 1.5-inch. We’ll test both and go with what feels best.

And yes! Flats are in development too.

By the time the website is live, here’s what we’ll have ready for pre-order:

-Two pumps (block + thin heel)

-Two loafers (2-inch + 1.5-inch)

-One pair of flats

-All in size 10 to 14/15, in several beautiful, versatile colors

This started with a vision and now, it’s becoming reality! From elegant color selections to heel injection designs (we’re even combining soft and hard heels for comfort and structure), every part of this is made with intention.

The manufacturing process was the hardest part. The next challenge is building the brand. But every day, we’re getting closer. I’m excited not just because we’re making shoes, but because we’re making space.

Space for women who are overlooked. Space for style in extended sizes. Space for those to walk into rooms and be seen, heard, and taken seriously with shoes that match that power.
