Week One With Vedones: Building the Brand One Step At A Time

Week one is officially in the books, and I’m proud of how much progress I’ve made.

I started by reaching out to a few marketing companies. One person got back to me, and while she’s currently on vacation, we’ve already scheduled a lunch meeting for next week. She’s interested in helping me get Vedones in front of micro-influencers, which is something I’m really excited to explore.

The biggest win this week was officially registering Vedones as a business. We are now an LLC, and I’ve secured the company’s EIN number. That alone felt like a major turning point.

I also began transferring the Vedones domain from Namecheap over to Shopify. The site is still a work in progress, but I’m happy to say the landing page is done, the “About Me” section is live, and the first blog post, sharing why I started Vedones, is already published.

This week, I also downloaded MidJourney, and it has been a huge creative help. I’ve used it to generate image mockups of the actual shoes — and it’s been surprisingly accurate. I’ve already made two strong visuals: one in blue, one in red. I still need to create more (gray, pink, etc.) so that I can build a solid portfolio of brand images to use across social media and the website.

On top of that, I claimed all the Vedones social media handles across platforms and started building out ideas for how we’ll approach content and marketing moving forward.

Everything this week was broken into small steps, which was about six tasks a day. It made the work feel manageable and gave me space to actually enjoy the process. Bit by bit, I’m building something real.

I’m proud of the progress. And this is only the beginning.

Stay tuned for Week Two.
